For myself tomorrow as I undergo a diagnostic heart catherization- for safety & no complications during & following the procedure, for my peace & ability to relax during the procedure, & for a simple, fixable answer for my symptoms of activity intolerance & shortness of breath upon exertion. I have much to do for the Lord & need my energy back!

For my friend A., being treated for Lupus and other illnesses… that the new medical “cocktail” they are mixing for her will bring her back into remission! She is a gifted fiber and glass artist who brings so much positive energy to the world, and is so generous to others with her gifts and blessings.

for the children i will be helping this week at a camp. these children come from “high risk environments”, 98% are fatherless and the majority have one or both parents in prison. these kids are going to this camp as their one week away. I’m requesting prayers for them and that they get as much as they can about god and his love out of this as possible and that they can use gods love to help them when they return home.

Requesting prayers for the parents of a woman named Charity. She posted that they’re losing their health insurance (or rather, the premiums are being pushed so high that they can’t pay, and the benefits are going to drop so far that it’s like having no insurance at all) and there’s nothing they can do about it. They don’t qualify for Medicaid and the state programs that are supposed to help them aren’t going to.
They apparently have regular major medical expenses that now they cannot afford to pay.
Please mention this on-air if you would like. These folks need a miracle.

There’s a family friend who’s having a major break with reality. She needs prayers.
She just got kicked out of the psychiatric hospital because she doesn’t have Medicaid. They said she’ll have to find her own way in the world. She isn’t taking her medications because they’re poisoning her body. She has no food in the house because food is poisonous. She won’t drink the water at home because the water is full of poison. She says she has no electricity because “the lights are dim.”
This is just the tip of the iceberg. My mom’s friend is a nun, and she’s going to ge ta social worker over there and see what else she can do for the woman. My mom is trying to get meals on wheels to bring one non-poisonous meal a day over to her (oh, friend also tells her that all the stores are closed. So is the church. No, really.) **ack!!**
My mom knows the woman’s doctor, and he isn’t all that and a bag of chips, but she’s going to try to notify him of what’s going on and maybe get him to *do* something. Right now, this woman is at home, sitting in the dark, and starving herself.
I told my mom to get her on the phone and provoke her into saying she’s starving herself to death so that my mom can then call 911 and say the woman is threatening suicide. At least that way, she’d get back in the psychiatric hospital and be fed.
I don’t know what else to do. Please pray for Barbara. Thanks.

I just wanted to update on Barbara, the family friend who’s having psychiatric issues. Thank heaven, she’s been taken back into inpatient care at a much better hospital than she was at before. My mother happens to be her health care proxy, so she’s managed to remain in contact with the care providers and a social worker, get her into a good situation, and watch over the care the woman is receiving. (As opposed to the first hospital, where she was merely warehoused until they sent her home in a taxi.)
Thanks everyone for your prayers. I believe this woman is now in good hands.

One of our dogs, Jimmy James, was diagnosed with kidney failure in June. He’s improved since, but he has been declining in recent weeks. We have him on both western meds and homeopathic treatments (diet and hydrotherapy) - but they both seem to be losing their effectiveness. Jimmy is only 4 years old, he is a puppy-mill rescue bichon frise.
Please pray for his health and for our assistance in coping with this sad situation.

Please say prayers for N., our four year old. After pulling his arm out of joint, he complained of wrist pain, so the doctor sent him for xrays. There was no break, but there was another finding. He has swelling of the bone linings, and they hoped it was injury related. It was followed up on three weeks later, and it was not. They are giving him a sedated MRI later this week to rule out bone cancer. Please, we all the prayers we can get for our sweet little boy.

Update on the four year old boy N, who was having an MRI for possible bone cancer (copied and pasted from his mom’s email):
Got the call, all is well! No bone cancer of any way shape or form. Slow healing undefined injury that did not have a break. Great NEWS! Happy day, thanks for all the prayers and tons of support and love. What a long month!

Apparently he was a real trooper through the MRI too, and didn’t need to be sedated. Thanks everyone for your prayers.

Thank you so much for the prayers for Jimmy James. He is improving again! There was a secondary infection related to renal failure; antibiotic treatment was successful. He is a happy dog again, still ill but enjoying his life nonetheless. Please keep him in your prayers. His illness will eventually cause his life to end, we just want to keep him with us and happy for as long as possible. At the moment, he is 3-1/2 months past how long the doctors expected him to last.

The gift i give you is the gift of positive prayer, although you maybe hurting, tell him that you love him and thank him for all the good he has brought into you life, this is a positive prayer which will produce a positive result.

My husband’s friend’s wife is in the final stages of cancer. They have two children. According to her Caringbridge site, her cancer has spread and the doctors are talking about a grim prognosis. As in, a matter of weeks.
Please pray for healing, for guidance for her doctors, for comfort for her family, and for a peaceful death if it comes to that.
